  1. 40-60 minutes (first call) + 30 minute follow up call in 10 days

What to Expect

Your initial phone/video consultation with Dorothy will take between 40 minutes to a maximum of 60 minutes, dependent on each child’s needs and/or age of baby.

Option 1. The follow-up consultation will take place 10 days after the initial appointment. It will last anywhere up to 30 minutes.

Option 2. The follow-up consultation will take place 5 days after the initial appointment. It will last anywhere up to 15 minutes. Followed by a second follow-up call 10 days after this.

During the 10 days after the first phone call, there is one check-in email only.

It is very common for parents to feel as though they haven’t made the steps in the right direction, so these follow-up call(s) are a chance to go over what is happening and amend accordingly to get things back on track.

How to Contact Dorothy

The best way to contact me is by text or email. If you prefer to speak with me, it is preferable to text or email in advance so we can formally arrange a time to speak, as I am most likely busy with other clients and am often unable to take calls.

You can contact me between 8am and 7pm Monday to Saturday inclusive. I will respond to you within a maximum of 24 hours however I will endeavour to contact you sooner if possible.

Travel Costs:

I am based in Papamoa but I travel to where I am needed. I have a client base in Auckland so come up on a regular basis. I can travel to the South Island however flights and accommodation (if applicable) may apply. Price on application.

Cancellation & Refunds:

Cancellation with less than 24 hours notice may result in the loss of your deposit, at Dorothy’s discretion.

Refunds will be at the discretion of Dorothy however a $15.00 payment will be deducted with all refunds.

International Clients:

Many of my consultations are available for overseas clients and Dorothy does travel internationally. Please email to discuss dorothy@babyhelp.co.nz

Terms & Conditions:

  • Prices quoted are in NZ dollars and include GST.
  • No additional charge for multiple children.
  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking.
  • Credit card payments (via PayPal) will incur an additional $15 charge which covers bank fees.
  • AfterPay available and subject to their T&Cs.
